The Sashboard Installation Template is a standardized spreadsheet used to collect all required configuration data during the installation and onboarding of Sashimi’s fume hood monitoring system. This file ensures that Sashboard setup following Sashimi installation is completed consistently, accurately, and efficiently.

The template includes dedicated fields for:

• Fume Hood Identification
  Unique IDs, lab room numbers, building names, and any existing asset tags used by the customer.

• Technical Specifications
  Hood type, face velocity settings, sash style (vertical, horizontal, or combination), and airflow measurement details.

• Sensor Assignment
  Sensor serial numbers, mounting locations, associated hood IDs, and network connectivity notes.

• Building Management System (BMS) Linkages (if applicable)
  Any airflow points or BACnet objects that must correspond to Sashboard’s data ingestion pipeline.

• Installer Notes
  Photos, special conditions, maintenance constraints, or comments needed for future troubleshooting.

This file functions as the single source of truth for all installation-related data. Once completed, the information is used to:

1. Set up each fume hood in the Sashboard, ensuring correct sensor-to-hood mapping.

2. Validate system configuration, especially for sites using both sensor data and BMS airflow data.

3. Support QA/QC checks before site activation.

4. Streamline future maintenance, upgrades, and cross-team handoffs.

When to Use This Template

Use the Sashboard Installation Template:

• Before every installation, to prepare and confirm the list of hoods, sensors, and site-specific configurations.

• During on-site installation, to record real-time information such as serial numbers, mounting details, network behavior, and any deviations from the planned layout.

• Immediately after installation, to finalize data entry and submit the completed file to the engineering team for Sashboard setup.

• Whenever updating or expanding the system, including adding new hoods, replacing sensors, or onboarding a new building.

This template should be completed by installers, facilities teams, or authorized system integrators responsible for deploying Sashimi hardware. Using this file ensures a smooth, error-free launch of Sashboard and consistent configuration across all customer deployments.
