This document outlines the procedure for manually installing or configuring the Sustainabli software on a Sashimi sensor.
In most cases, these steps will not be necessary because devices can be updated remotely. However, in rare scenarios, the sensors may need to be updated manually.
This guide details the steps to manually perform the update and configuration. The process requires:
Plugging the sensor into a computer via a USB-C cable
Accessing the institutional-specific OTA update page
Connecting to the device using the CP2102N serial port
And then either installing the latest software version or proceeding directly to configure device settings through the Logs & Console.
Configuration involves answering a series of YES or NO prompts in the terminal for settings related to Wifi, Splits, Height, and ID. Upon completion, the device should be connected to the Sashboard, the online dashboard.
